Our Philosophy

Change is the only constant. How adaptable and agile we are to meet the changes in our lives reflects our health, in spirit-mind-body. It is how we overcome each challenge that we heal one facet of the myriad aspects of ourselves. Recognising the imbalance at an early stage, is a useful skill to cultivate to help us prevent chronic diseases. A healthy body has a tremendous ability to maintain homeostasis. When we feel something is out of tune, if not addressed, then it becomes a discomfort, the discomfort turns into pain, the pain turns into illness. By the time diseases manifest, the body has been struggling in silence for a long while.

Chinese medicine, Taichi, Qigong, and Yoga are based and rooted in the philosophy that perceives the place of humankind in between the cosmos (Sky) and the Earth.

Like many traditional and ancient worldviews, Yin Yang philosophy is inward-looking yet deeply interwoven with the external phenomena that it seeks to understand. Healing is not a destination; it is a journey.

Yin Yang is based on the fractal patterns in Nature, how we are a part of these patterns and how we affect each other. Harmony and balance involve active adjustments within the constant flux of changes.

When we understand the phenomenal patterns and how our body-mind-spirit respond to these patterns, our lives are nourished.

Chinese medicine, Taichi, Qigong, and Yoga are our study and effort to understand these patterns and sync our lives with their rhythm.

They are tools to support our lives on Earth to be more enjoyable, peaceful, and aware of our place in the cosmos in meaningful ways; to feel connected to Life and the Life-giving energies around us.
